6 Reasons on Why You should Buy the Graco SlimFit 3 In 1 Convertible Car Seat

If you are looking for ways to fit your children in your car without compromising on either comfort or safety, go for the extraordinary Graco SlimFit Car Seat.
1) Simple Safe Adjust Harness System

This car seat features the Simply Safe Adjust Harness System which makes adjusting the headrest and harness at the same time and accommodating your growing child rather easy.
Also, the one-of-a-kind rotating cup holders can rotate and thus provide an additional 10% of space.
There are 4 recline positions that will help your child feel comfortable even during long rides. Furthermore, the InRight LATCH system makes the installation simple and quick.
2) SafeSeat Engineered
The Graco SlimFit car seat has been side-impact tested and SafeSeat Engineered, so you needn't worry about safety - your child is in best "hands".
3) Easy To Maintain
Hygiene is one of the top priorities for parents, especially during hot summer months. Thus, we were happy to learn that the seat cover on the Graco SlimFit is easily accessible, and can be washed without removing the harness. Also, the seat cushion is machine-washable, and all plastic and metal parts can be cleaned with cool water and mild soap.
4) Sleek & Compact Design
One of the first things we buy when we're expecting a child is a car seat; it is a true necessity. If our car isn't particularly small, we pick a car seat based on safety, comfort, and price. However, once our family starts getting bigger and we start having trouble fitting multiple children in the back seat of our car, we realize that we should have bought smaller or more compact car seats.
Apart from having all the above-mentioned impressive features, the Graco SlimFit comes in a sleek, space-saving design, which is a big plus. A car seat has to be safe and comfortable, but we love when it is aesthetically pleasing as well.
5) Graco SlimFit Installation
The installation was pretty straightforward, which didn't surprise us - most Graco models are easy to install. The instructions provided were fairly easy to follow.
Moreover, the SlimFit features premium push-on LATCH connectors, which made the installation very easy. In addition, we found that both the handy tab and the belt path are easy to access.
What's more, we tried installing the SlimFit in the center position (which is the safest place in the car), and we can say that it definitely fits well next to other car seats.

However, other seats shouldn't be too wide in order for everyone to be comfortable.
6) Additional Options

In order to provide a better fit for small babies, the SlimFit has a removable body support. If your child's shoulders are below the lowest harness setting, then the support is required; in other cases, it is optional.
Harness strap covers and a removable headrest pillow are also at your child's disposal (they are optional). In our experience, the headrest pillow proved to be great for sleeping.
When it comes to the booster mode, we do wish that the belt was a little lower and that there was slightly more wiggle room.

Pros and Cons

Graco SlimFit vs. Milestone

The Graco Milestone and the SlimFit have a lot in common. In terms of their features, these two car seats are almost identical. We had tested and used the Milestone for quite some time, and we have to admit that it was one of our top contenders. So, when Graco introduced a narrower option, we wanted to see if we could love it more than the Milestone. We'll be honest - we had our doubts, but we can now say that we do love the SlimFit version a bit more.
It's also important to note that switching between modes on the SlimFit is easy and quick, just like on the Milestone, which we enjoyed using.
Final Verdict

With an abundance of useful and safe features, and in spite of the few minor but not that important drawbacks, this model should definitely be one of your top picks, especially if you have two or more children and you don't have ample space in your car.
